The latest update for iOS 13 is now available to all iPhone users, however, it has come with a series of bugs for some apps. For example, Battle Royale video games such as Fortnite and PUBG Mobile.
Since the official launch of the new version of iOS, many players have voiced their complaints via social networks because of errors that affected their gaming experience especially with Fortnite or PUBG.
As I mentioned 9to5Mac, the new iOS 13 gesture for copying and pasting text is why not many people can play smoothly in these games, as the gameplay session is suddenly interrupted. This is an error that includes the new shortcut bar to copy, paste, and edit text.
Most games like Fortnite or PUBG use three fingers to control them, making the system believe that the user wants to open the edit bar, even if there is no editable text field in the app.
This bug was reported a month ago in Reddit by those using the public beta of iOS 13. Developers of both games are already aware of the situation and have asked their users not to update their phones to iOS 13.
The solution will come with iOS 13.1, dated September 24. So far there is no way to disable the edit bar option under iPhone Settings.
