Starving Puppy Was Dumped On Road In Chair And Too Afraid To Leave It To Find Food

"To whoever dumped this chair, please know that your pet was starving to death while waiting for your return and was scared to leave the chair to look for food."

In Brookhaven, Mississippi, a woman was strolling down the street when she witnessed something horrific. A chair with a television was left on the side of the lane by a truck, and inside the recliner was a terrified and starved puppy.

She quickly ran to the puppy and called Animal Control to request assistance.

The animal control officer from Brookhaven who arrived on the scene, Sharon Norton, took a picture of the dog and posted it on Facebook.

She captioned the photo, saying, "To whoever dumped this chair, your pet was starving to death because it was too terrified to leave the chair to find food.

You should feel guilty for what you did to the puppy, but Karma will catch up with you eventually.

The puppy was brought to a shelter where it was fed, groomed, and examined. He is relieved to get a second opportunity at life and to soon be available for adoption.

If you know who abandoned this sad puppy on Gaston Trail in Brookhaven, Mississippi, please get in touch with animal control or the local police.
