Dave Bautista Adopts Horribly Abused Pit Bull Puppy Found Eating Trash In Cemetery

After being adopted by the actor Dave Bautista, a 3-month-old pit bull puppy that had a difficult upbringing will have no need for anything.

After learning about Sage's situation, the ex-wrestler, who has a soft spot for pit bulls, immediately called the shelter to offer assistance.

Sage was taken to the Humane Society of Tampa Bay after being discovered by a kind stranger in a nearby cemetery devouring trash (HSTB).

When the cute puppy approached her, the woman realized she was wearing a metal chain around her neck. She rushed the puppy to the HSTB in need of assistance.

Sage was inspected by the medical staff, wagging her tail the entire time, and then was prepared for surgery to have the chain around her neck removed.

We saw that Sage had overgrown nails and skin conditions in addition to the chain. That someone would abuse her in this way has us in awe. The homeless shelter reported.

One of many who offered to nurture the adorable child or indicated interest in adopting her if she survived was David Bautista.

David said he would personally give $5,000 in cash to the person who provided information that resulted in an arrest and conviction because he was furious that someone could abuse the defenseless puppy. He will also get a reward for catching the cruel person in addition to the $1,500 from HSTB and the $5,000 from Alvarez Injury Law.

David had a gruff exterior, but as he saw the dog running toward him, he broke down. He laughed and grinned widely as the Sage approached.

The moment he stroked the dog's head, they grew close. Not just Dave, though, is ecstatic to welcome his newest family member.

While Sage is in her new dad's arms, she is beaming with happiness.

Sage's adoption was announced by the shelter to their Facebook supporters.

Dave was persuaded by Sage's tale that she and he belonged together. We're ecstatic for Sage!

The young puppy, now known as Penny, will join Dave's other two rescued pit bulls. He held Penny in a video he posted on Instagram welcoming her to his followers, saying, "She's about to enjoy her finest puppy life ever.

Adopt like Dave does!
